Today I had the pleasure of learning that UNBROKEN is worthy of a YouTube partnership due to its popularity. This is something that I have been striving for & couldn't be more pleased. However, isn't it strange how they don't tell you exactly how much you will make?
I did quite a bit of (hurried) homework to see the benefits of joining Google AdSense initially, but was then was a bit miffed to learn that:
#1 once you join AdSense, you still need to be approved by YouTube to advertise &
#2 once they allow your advertising opportunity, YouTube AND AdSense take a percentage too.
So in conclusion: I have no idea what UNBROKEN will monetize & I really don't know how much YouTube will take off of that & I really have no way of tracking it or keeping them honest.
I'm sure it's in the fine print somewhere, but for now-I'll settle for being lucky we got the YouTube partnership.
I'm keeping an open mind and hoping the video will make a little money so we can hire someone to help with the web stuff & finish paying for some of the outstanding legal work my wonderful lawyer has done for us.
